Silcock's team of workmen got a pleasant
surprise Monday morning when they uncovered the old frontage of
the Embassy Restaurant in Nevill Street, Southport.
The design of a proposed new frontage was
very similar to what they had found, and a decision was made to
keep the original sign and maintain the character of the building.
The old sign will be restored and repainted
with the Silcock's Embassy name along with new windows and doors
already proposed.
