Silcocks Southport Pier complex celebrates
its 20th Birthday on Friday 12th September.
It was 20 years ago when Silcock's took over
the Golden Goose Amusements and Golden Fry from the Trust House
Forte Group. A few months later the name was changed to Funland
and two years later the Follies bar closed and the Amusements made
bigger.
Funland has changed many times over the years
and has remained the largest family entertainment centre in the
area.
