Silcock's famous Carousel at Southport Pier is being captured
on film again whilst filming '4 Days', a drama set in the resort.
The drama mystery set in the town of Southport has enlisting local
figures including Lord Ronnie Fearn and Champion editor Martin
Hovden, plus Heartbeat stars David Lonsdale and Tricia Penrose and
Stephen Graham who has starred in top movies and TV programmes
including Snatch, Band of Brothers and more recently, the smash
hit, Gangs of New York with Leonardo Di Caprio.
Paul Bagshaw from Channel 10 said 'we wanted an instantly
recognisable part of Southport for this important scene, and
Silcock's have been kind enough to offer us this location'
This is now the third feature to be filmed on the famous Carousel
in the past 2 years which have included an advert for DFD and an
outside broadcast for GMTV, promoting Clair Sweeney.
