Scammell Pioneer 1990's

In the early 90's the Scammell was moved to a new location at Silcock's Funland complex where a workshop had been cleared to house the vehicle.

With the Scammell now in its new location another few winters went by as the team started to collect or make replacement parts and some more work was carried out. A new cab was constructed for the Scammell as the old one had rusted and rotted away and some more new parts copied from the old ones that were slowly disintegrating away.

A few more winters went by and in 2001 more time was allocated to the Scammell project. It was sandblasted again down to the bare metal and three coats of red lead applied and then sprayed red.

Scammell 1980's
Back in 1988 a rusting and vandalised Scammell Pioneer built around 1943, was rescued.

Scammell 2003
September 2003 and with the available manpower the project picks up where it left off 2 years ago.
